Jem’s new feature, COUNTING, premiered in the 2015 Berlin Film Festival in the Forum section.
Following their release of MUSEUM HOURS, Cinema Guild has picked up the new film and will represent it for both U.S. and international sales and distribution.
Jem will be presenting a screening of various shorts and excerpts, old and new, at 7:30pm at Uniondocs
in Brooklyn. He will be in conversation with Steve Holmgren.

Jem will present two intimate nights of old works and misc. shorts at the crucial Anthology Film Archives.

In a discussion moderated by Eugene Hernandez, Jem will discuss MUSEUM HOURS and his working methods and show some short films.
In the leadup to the run of MUSEUM HOURS, which starts on June 18, the IFC Center theater is showing a series of Jem Cohen shorts, including the premieres of A Day is Long, Helianthus Corner Blues, and Springtime. These shorts will play, one per week, before the theater’s regular feature films.
